AI presents many opportunities and threats to businesses, organisations, governments, nations and of course, the human species.  AI can be used for good or for bad. AI has many advantages and disadvantages.

AI advantages include: Solving hunger, diseases, environment plus in marketing/business terms –  Efficiency  – faster and cheaper comms, Personalisation, Prediction, Adding Value, Extending Reach, Deepening Relationships, Creating and Evaluating NPD (New Product Development).

AI disadvantages include: Bias , Hallucinations,  Law Suits: IP Infringement, Law Suits: Privacy infringement, Post-Truth Society, Unintended Consequences and Human Extinction.

Here is the Former, Microsoft X CBO (Chief Business officer) – which he says was ‘the second best job in the world’ Mo Gawdat’s talk at the Nordic Business Forum 2023 in Helsinki on September 27, 2023. Both of these videos have an undertone, in my opinion , of Industry 5.0 whose pillars of success (for organisations and businesses going forward are: Sustainabile, Human-centric and Resilient (in these turbulent times). Industry 5.0 shifts the focus away from the seemingly now defunct, shareholder model to the stakeholder model.  Implicit in it all is his #HappinessProject.

    What an incredible presentation! Thank you for sharing. Regardless of one’s familiarity with the subject, I found every minute of the video engaging. I like how he explained moment of singularity and the black hole and the Oppenheimer moment. He’s truly brilliant, and I’ve saved the video to revisit later.
